About Garcia Middle School Library

Since 2002, Garcia Middle School Library has been an integral part of the BISD and Brownsville community. Our mission is to make our students lifelong readers and learners. We strengthen our student's reading skills by providing up to date materials for both schoolwork and pleasure. The Garcia Library is not only a place to come and read - it is a center for discovery, creativity, and empowerment. With our growing collection of digital media, we’re helping to engage with a new generation of learners and establishing the foundations to bring people, ideas, and information together into the future.
